Rated 5 out of 5 by ransur0t from stellar sound, sublime form and function The TT was a breeze to setup and Bluetooth connectivity was equally painless. Sound quality over Bluetooth is on par with my older Technics DD TT connected via my AVR's phono input. It is immersive, dynamic, full, and detailed. For a budget cartridge, this unit does not disappoint! The automatic operation is trouble free. Build quality is certainly satisfactory at this price point and very similar to my 70's/80's era Technics TT's. Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase. It complements my home audio system quite well and I look forward to many, many albums spun on the platter. Sony quality, design, and performance, as always, one of the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jay Cujo from I absolutely love the Sony PS-LX310BT turntable! I was kinda going nuts waiting for this brand new design Sony PS-LX310BT turntable to be released! (It's very quiet!) The automatic play mechanism works very smoothly. No loud clunk noises or clicking noises as the tone-arm lifts and moves towards the beginning of the album edge. The tone-arm doesn't just drop down onto the album like some fully automatic turntables, it is dampened so it has a slow controlled placement onto the lead-in grove. I'm very happy with this new fully automatic Sony turntable! I just have one or two questions! Can I use the rubber platter mat off of an old Sony PS-LX250H turntable? Or is it to heavy for the motor and belt system of this new model turntable? I really don't care too much for the thin foam platter mat that comes with the new PS-LX310BT turntable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from backup Turntable my normal everyday set up is a Mcintosh C28 pre and 2125 Power with an EAT C Major turntable using a Blue cartridge. My amps went in the shop for a few months and I needed a cheap turntable to hold me over with a built in pre-amp. I ran this turntable through a Harmon Kardon and I passed time. For a cheap turn table I was impressed with the tracking and anti skating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SONE139 from Nice sound quality for an inexpensive turntable The Sony PSLX310BT has very good audio quality. I purchased the product to download my vinyl collection into my computer and wanted a unit that had good sound without paying for junk. This is a nice product and is easy to use. The sound quality was unexpected at this price point (my other turntable is a Micro-Seiki DDX 1000 with a Rega RB250 tonearm and various cartridges). Not an apple to orange comparison, but the Sony does sound very nice in a casual setting. Being automatic is a nice touch as well. It would be nice if Sony offered either a replaceable cartridge or an upgraded stylus, as more definition can probably be achieved with something other than a conical needle. However, due to the low cost and the audience that it's directed toward, it's an acceptable product! I'd buy it again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a versatile turntable for casual listening and copying to digital formats.

Rated 3 out of 5 by levelm from Too much plastic I bought it for the Bluetooth feature and because it had mainly positive reviews. However, I find it to be too light with too much plastic (especially the tone arm) making it very easy for skips to happen. The stylus doesn't seem like it will last very long either (I've already ordered a replacement). Also, my entire deck looks like a bad paint job with little bumps everywhere. I'm not sure if this was by design but it looks sloppy. Definitely feels like a much cheaper turntable than I had expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by theDudeMelo from Easy to setup with great sound!! I just bought this model and i mus say that it is a wonderful feeling to lose myself hassle free in my record colection. I enjoy artists from Fantastic Negrito to Them Crooked Vultures, to Portishead and i must say that this little piece of machinery does wonders in playing all of them. The sound is clear and with a little humpf! to whatever i am playing. The setup was straightforward and the bluetooth pairing worked like a charm. I am not a audiophile but i have grown with music around me since i was a kid, and i must say that specially for the price, this machine does it all. I love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by dengland from Play LP's back to 50's I can now play old LP's going back to my younger days in the 50's. The setup was easy and quick. Installing the belt was a breeze. The turn table and pad just dropped into place. Read the instructions about removing the cartridge cap. I pulled down and removed the cartridge instead of pulling the cap straight out. After examining the cartridge, it was an easy snap back into place. The connection to blue tooth speakers was easy. I have played at least 30 to 40 LP's so far and everything is working perfectly. The sound is great with little noise from the player. Now I have a relief from TV.
