Yamaha RSS02T Revstar Standard 6-String Electric Guitar (Right-Handed, Hot Merlot)
This Yamaha RSS02T Revstar Standard Electric Guitar features P90-style single-coil pickups with 5-way switching and the Focus Switch boost, with a custom racing tailpiece. Its Acoustic Design process uses advanced measurement, analysis, and modeling tools to design guitar bodies that offer a clear, powerful tone and maximum resonance. This guitar is crafted to the highest standards by the master luthiers in Japan. Used in place of a signature in Japan, the Hanko stamp on every Revstar guitar is a seal of approval. This standard model features the Revstar Hanko.
Chambered Body with Acoustic Design
The Revstar Standard guitar features a chambered body designed to sculpt tone, reduce weight, and optimize balance, with carbon reinforcement in the neck to improve vibration transfer.
5-Way Switching
With the same 5-way switching as Revstar Professional, the subtle phase shift on positions 2 and 4 offers a fresh take on classic in-between sounds.
Focus Switch
The Focus Switch boost on this guitar provides even greater versatility. The push/pull Tone control activates a passive boost with an effect similar to overwound pickups—darker highs, increased mids and lows, and an aggressive character.
Pickups
The RSS20 Guitar features humbuckers and offers P90-style single coils. All pickups are custom designed by Yamaha and use Alnico V magnets for powerful tone.
