VOX V846 Vintage wah Pedal for Classic Rock Tones, Featuring Newly Designed Circuit

Bring back the 1967 rock tones with the VOX V846 Vintage wah pedal. Originally introduced as the Wah-Wah pedal stemmed from the Midrange Boost feature of a VOX amp design, it was launched as a device to make the sound of a muted trumpet. To cater to the needs of rock guitarists, the V846 was changed and rereleased as the V846. It became a top favourite amongst the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. The new pedal recreates the sound of the second wah pedal down to the core. It replicates the tonal character of the original V846 model and is voiced with an assertive tone and extended frequency sweep, emphasizing on high frequencies, making it ideal for classic rock tones. 
Vintage Wah Recreated
Custom-designed parts with enhanced features ensure that the new model is a replica of its vintage counterpart, with all characteristics in place. It features newly designed inductors and potentiometers, with hand-selected transistors, resistors, capacitors, and wiring to complete the circuit. The exterior of the pedal is a 3D scan of the vintage body with attention to minute details like the screws and the font.
How It Was Created
The VOX V846 was created by acquisition of vintage V846 wah from 1967 found in top condition. It is often referred to as the ‘Holy Grail’ by the ones at VOX. Several A or B tests and frequency response tests later, it was finalized. This process throws light on the intricacies involved in recreating something vintage with sheer emphasis on achieving a unique frequency curve that replicates the results of the holy grail.
