In the year 1980, TAMA introduced the Bell Brass Snare Drum that took the music world by storm. Often referred to as ‘The Terminator’, this drum became a popular choice amongst sound engineers, drummers and music fans across the globe. Thanks to its pure sonic touch and microphone-friendly acoustics, this snare drum was a favorite then and has been reissued now to mark the brand’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Solid Construction
The Bell Brass Snare Drum measures 14 by 6.5 inches and has a special blend of copper and tin that helps it to produce a seamless shell. The explosive tones produce high decibels of music that has an unexpected damp warmth to it. It is accompanied by the original designs including the Die-cast hoops, Roller Action Snare Strainer with extended snare wires, original design lugs and One-Touch Tone Control. Adding a rustic touch to the snare drum is an aged verdigris patina finish flattered by the original design Superstar badge. TAMA has faithfully reproduced a loved classic and enables present day drummers to relive iconic moments from drum history.
