TAMA 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Mastercraft 7.5mm 15Ply Rosewood Shell 14 x 5 Inch Snare Drum

TAMA released the Rosewood Snare Drum in the 1980s for the very first time. Made of 100 percent rosewood, it was the first of its kind in the market. The high-density rosewood drum shells have a tedious production process and rosewood was mostly used for making guitar fretboards in those days. The dark shade and full-bodied tones of the rosewood snare drums made them instantly popular amongst drummers. To mark the 50th anniversary celebrations, TAMA has reissued this old favourite in limited quantities. The drum’s core features a 7.5mm and 15-ply 100 percent Indian Rosewood shell with a high-gloss clear lacquer. It even features a replica of the TAMA Superstar badge used on the original drum. The 14 by 5 inch snare drum includes drum hardware like die-cast hoops, 10 original-design lugs and internal tone control. Not to forget that it features TAMA’s unique Roller Action Strainer that features a single on and off lever with dual guide rollers that allow adjustments conveniently.
