The 1980s saw a surge in new snare drum launches. TAMA
released the Mastercraft Steel Snare Drum that featured a classic 14 by 6.5-inch
snare drum with a 1.2mm Steel Shell complete with the iconic TAMA shell
indentation design. Commemorating TAMA’s 50th anniversary, the brand
has reissued the popular snare drum featuring the original design Superstar
badge and 10 original design lugs. It even features One Touch Tone Control to
beautifully replicate the original masterpiece. The explosive and thunderous
sonic capabilities speak volumes of TAMA’s five decade expertise.
