1. Contest Overview: The "Focus on the Journey" Share Your Story Contest ("Contest") is organized by Focus Pro Audio ("Organizer"). Participants are invited to create a 1 to 2-minute Instagram Reel or YouTube Short sharing their story about why they wanted to become a musician. The Contest is divided into five categories: guitarist, keyboardist, DJ, drummer, and recording artist. One winner will be selected from each category.
2. Eligibility:
• Open to legal residents of the United States.
• Participants must be 18 years or older as of the start date of the Contest (January 20, 2025).
• Employees, agents, and immediate family members of the Organizer are not eligible to participate.
3. Contest Period:
• Submission Period: January 20, 2025, 12:00 AM EST – February 28, 2025, 11:59 PM EST.
• Judging Period: March 1, 2025, – March 15, 2025.
• Winners will be announced on March 20, 2025.
4. How to Enter:
1. Create a 1 to 2-minute video in the form of an Instagram Reel or YouTube Short sharing your story about why you wanted to become a musician. Participants must post the video on their personal Instagram or YouTube account.
2. Use the hashtag #FocusOnTheJourney and #playwithoutlimits and tag @FocusProAudio in your post.
3. Use only one of the following hashtags that best corresponds with your category: #guitarist, #DJ, #keyboardist, #drummer, #recordingartist.
4. Ensure your profile is public during the Contest period for your entry to be visible. Participants must also follow @focusproaudio on Instagram or subscribe to @focusproaudio on YouTube. They may choose either one or both options.
5. Each participant may submit one entry per category.
5. Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

Creativity and Originality (40%): How unique and engaging is the story?
•
Emotional Impact (30%): How well does the story resonate with the audience?
•
Relevance (20%): How well does the video connect to the theme of "why you wanted to become a musician"?
•
Production Quality (10%): Is the video clear, visually appealing, and well-produced? (Note: Professional production is not required.)
6. Prizes: There will be one winner per category. The winners from the guitar, DJ, and keyboard categories will choose one from multiple prize packages in that category. The prizes for each include:

DJ Category:

Producer Category:
- Home Recording Studio Bundle: Focusrite (audio interface) + Novation (keyboard controller) + ADAM Audio (studio monitors).

Drummer Category:
- Drummer Prize Package: Zildjian ALCHEM-E Headphones + Alesis Nitro Max Kit Electronic Drum Set.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items. Please allow 30-60 days for prize shipping.
7. Winner Notification:
• Winners will be notified via email or direct message on the platform of their submission.
• Winners must respond within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
8. Content Ownership and Use:
• By entering the Contest, participants grant the Organizer a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, and display their submissions in any media for promotional purposes.
• Participants affirm that their submission is their original work and does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
9. Disqualification:
• Entries that do not adhere to these Terms and Conditions, include inappropriate content, or fail to meet the submission criteria will be disqualified.
10. General Conditions:
• No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
• The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.
• The Organizer is not responsible for technical issues or failures that may affect the submission process.
• Participants release the Organizer from any liability related to participation in the Contest or the acceptance and use of the prize.
11. Force Majeure: The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, or any other unforeseen events or circumstances that prevent the Contest from running as planned.
12. Governing Law: This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and is void where prohibited by law.
