Construction of SL2 DX Guitar

The construction of the American SL2 features an alder body paired with a sustain-boosting three-piece maple neck that incorporates two graphite-reinforcement rods, ensuring maximum stability against bending and warping caused by temperature and humidity changes. Equipped with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and inverse mother of pearl sharkfin inlays, the ebony fingerboard has a 12-16-inch compound radius, optimized for fast, technical playing - more curved near the nut for comfortable chord work, it levels out along the neck for faster playing and effortless bends. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots enhance visibility on dimly lit stages, while a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick modifications to neck relief as needed. 

Pickups Configuration

The HH pickup configuration includes a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucking bridge pickup that delivers a powerful low end with a fierce attitude, complemented by the Seymour Duncan 59 SH-1N neck pickup which offers a bright treble tone with scooped mids that perform excellently across various music styles.
