Ibanez SR Bass Workshop 5-String Multiscale Electric Bass Guitar (Blue Chameleon)

A relatively new concept, the multiscale guitars though a bit unusual, often surprise players by familiarizing them with its comfortable playability in no time. The varied fret-to-bridge distances help to develop a deeper bass with advanced tonal qualities. The Ibanez SR Bass Workshop Guitar clicks all boxes in this regard.
Body, Neck, and Fretboard
This 5-string electric bass guitar features a 5pc maple and walnut neck and a panga panga fretboard that boasts of a wood grain that is not only appealing look wise, but offers tight lows and mid-range accompanied by a sharp attack on high notes. It features medium sized frets and a Okoume body.
Bridge
The MR5S bridge is an answer to every bassist’s string spacing needs with its adjustable saddles that allow variable spacing of about 1.5mm.
Multi Scale Construction
The unique multi scale construction of the Ibanez SR Bass Workshop Multiscale Guitar equalizes tension of each string thereby giving it a more ‘alive’ touch. The design is meant to make players comfortable by coordinating the way a player’s hand’s angles move while playing the guitar.
