The Ibanez RG Premium RGT1221PBSWL 6-String Electric Guitar is one of the most coveted and distinguished guitars in its line. Over 30 years of metal have honoured this premium series for its speed and unique qualities. ‘Designed to inspire’ this special model combines expert craftsmanship and advanced technology to offer an unmatched playing experience.
Body, Neck and Fretboard
The 6-string right-handed model features a poplar burl top featuring an exotic-looking wood grain and has an American basswood body. It features a Wizard II 7 pc maple and walnut neck. The special characteristic of the neck is that the thin and flat Wizard neck is extremely strong and sturdy. It helps to render ultimate playability. The Wizard neck has a two-octave 24-fret ebony fretboard which produces tight lows and mid-range with a strong attack on its high end. The fretboard has corrosion-resistant jumbo stainless steel frets that offer quick response and effortless articulation when chords are played. Playing single notes result in clear tones.
Pickups and Mono-Rail Bridge
The premium model delivers depth and rich dynamics with its DiMarzio Air Norton and The Tone Zone pickups deliver a huge sound with a dynamic range that is extremely versatile. The Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads on this premium model achieves tuning stability that helps to minimize string-changing time. The mono rail bridge is designed for stability and sustain and minimizes cross-talk between strings. The guitar features dyna-MIX 10 switching system that offers ten sound variations and lets you make easy switching between humbucker and single coil modes with the mini switch. Despite its two humbucker pickup layout, the power Tap mode gives you a realistic single coil sound.
Side Dots Inlay
The luminescent side dot position marks enable the players to easily see the fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages or dimly-lit environments.
Accessories
The electric guitar comes with an Ibanez gig bag tailored to fit the guitar for easy storage and traveling.
