Body, Neck, and Fretboard
The Ibanez BTB 7-string guitar has a Bubinga top, ash, and okume wing body. It features a 9-piece maple, panga panga, and walnut neck held together by graphite reinforcement rods for unmatched stability. Enjoy supreme note attack and increased sustain with this unique neck combination. The 7-string professional guitar delivers a focused mid-range via the rosewood fretboard and has medium stainless steel frets that go a long way.
Pickups
A type of humbucker, the T1 pickup consists of two separate coils, mounted individually. It provides tight bass response combined with a striking mid-range and a clear high-end. To suit a range of genres, the guitar offers flexible voicing. Adjust the height of each coil individually to attain precise results. With the round edges, experience comfortable playing like never before, even while using the pickup as a thumb rest. Unlike most multi scale basses, the unique design of this guitar allows the individually mounted coils to be positioned in an offset manner. This enhances the comfort of playing the instrument.
3-Band EQ
The latest refinement to join the bandwagon of simple and user-friendly EQ control is the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ. Centred on slightly different frequencies, the Boost and Cut for the mid control help to deliver the most favourable bass tones from the preset range. 
Bridge
The MR5S bridge is an answer to every bassist’s string spacing needs with its adjustable saddles that allow variable spacing of about 1.5mm.
EQ Control
The EQ bypass control allows for tonal adjustments with a switch for passive-only operation. Once the EQ bypass gets activated, the treble control knob acts as the global tone control knob for the passive circuit. The 3-way mid frequency switch allows players to change the mid-tone between 250, 450, and 750 Hz.
Neck-Through Construction
Offering easy access to the high fretboard positions and contributing to massive sustain is the unique neck-through construction of this multi-scale 7-string bass guitar.
