The Grestch Jim Dandy series draws inspiration from the ‘Rex’ instruments originally offered by mail-order catalog in the 1930s, ‘40s and ’50s. It beautifully portrays the charm associated with flat-top guitars from Gretsch that were super comfortable to play and delivered the best-in-class tones. The Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Dreadnought 6-String Acoustic Guitar has a specially-designed slope shoulder shape body with a 24.75-inch short scale. The dreadnought guitars are popular for offering compact and fresh form of music without the quality of bass response, the volume and projection getting affected.  Laminated sapele wood is used for the body top, back and the sides of the guitar. In addition, the X-bracing patterns of the wood strips give it a well-balanced look. It features a semi-glossy Nato C-shape neck and has a 12-inch walnut fingerboard with 20 vintage frets (14 to the body) and also features white pearloid dot position inlays.  Producing electrified acoustic beats is the Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup. The Deltoluxe Dreadnought guitar features synthetic bone nut and has single-action truss rod that helps with string adjustment. The Gretsch Deltoluxe 6-string model features a 1-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Its hardware has a classy nickel-finish and the guitar comes in a beautiful black top finish.
