Center Block guitars are meticulously crafted to embody the distinctive and
robust Gretsch sound, especially for high volumes. The Gretsch G5622
Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail, a 6-string right-handed
electric guitar, has a double-cutaway maple body with a chambered spruce center
block. This design not only ensures dynamic resonance but also provides high
gain power and lightweight comfort during play. The guitar is equipped with
Dual Black Top Broad’Tron humbucking pickups, delivering vibrant highs and
articulate tones.
Main Features
The Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail features
a maple neck set lower for easy access and optimal performance. Equipped with a
12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid
Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, this guitar offers comfortable playability. The
instrument is powered by Black Top Broad’Tron humbucking pickups. Its control
setup includes a Master volume with a treble bleed circuit, master tone,
individual pickup volume controls, and a three-position pickup toggle switch.
Additional features include a V-Stoptail tailpiece, an anchored Adjusto-Matic
bridge, a Graph Tech NuBone nut, nickel hardware, and aged white binding with
multi-ply purfling. The Gretsch G5622 is available in a Claret Burst finish.
