Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio 4th Gen USB Audio Interface with Hi-Z Instrument, Loopback, Air Mode
The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio 4th Gen USB Audio Interface features an impressive 69 dB gain range, providing exceptional clarity and detail for recording. With the 2i2, you can easily connect an electric guitar to one of the Hi-Z instrument inputs, simulating using an amp, or you may use the excellent, high-quality line inputs to connect keyboards, synths, and groove boxes. The Scarlett 2i2 Studio employs superior studio-grade converters with a 120 dB dynamic range, which are comparable to those in Focusrite's RedNet interfaces, which are the industry standard for high-end studios all over the world. The interface also has an Air Mode that gives singers and instruments a high-end presence and a rich harmonic drive. This model has the appearance of a large studio console. Numerous user-friendly features are included with the Scarlett 2i2, including Auto Gain, which, when activated and played for ten seconds, automatically establishes the ideal recording level. During your recording session, the Clip Safe function simulates the help of a professional engineer by adjusting the gain to prevent clipping. Hardware features like Dynamic Gain Halos make it simple to watch input and output signals. When utilizing the included CM25 MkIII studio condenser mic, all sources sound fantastic, but vocalists and acoustic instruments sound especially good. With Focusrite's Easy Start feature, recording setup is a breeze. The interface also includes the Hitmaker Expansion software bundle, which offers a variety of studio tools for record-making, together with all the necessary applications, such as Ableton Live Lite and Avid Pro Tools Artist. Using Focusrite Control 2, you may direct control your recording session from your PC or Mac.
The Interface for Artists
The 4th-Generation preamps from 2i2 are Scarlett's clearest and most detailed yet, with a massive 69 dB gain range. Set up mics for your voice and guitar and connect them to the preamps. An electric guitar connected to one of the 2i2's hi-Z instrument inputs will sound exactly like an amp. Wherever you compose music, Scarlett brings Focusrite's expert sound quality with you.
Discover Your Distinctive Sound
Scarlett's re-engineered Air mode brings your sound's distinctive character to the forefront of the mix for standout lead vocal and instrument tracks, providing a genuinely musical presence and rich harmonic drive, just like a vintage console in a high-end studio.
Simple Level Setting
With Scarlett's Dynamic Gain Halos, you can quickly and easily choose the ideal level to produce high-quality recordings each and every time.
Take Note of Each Detail
By pressing the red button, you can record directly from Focusrite's RedNet interfaces, which are the standard for high-end studios all around the world, at 192 kHz and 24-bit resolution. Utilize your recordings' every last bit of detail without compromising sound quality.

Adam Audio T10S 10-Inch Powered Studio Subwoofer
The Adam Audio T10S 10-Inch Powered Studio Subwoofer is a powerful yet compact active subwoofer, designed to extend the bass response of any nearfield studio monitor. However, the subwoofer’s performance, features, and connectivity are engineered specifically to complement ADAM Audio’s T5V and T7V speakers. While reciting the T Series design language, the T10S is one of the most compact subwoofers in its class, which allows it to be easily integrated with any studio environment. The acoustic performance was optimized by four high-grade flexible rubber feet that prevent the sound from exciting the floor and a spacious rear-facing bass reflex port for optimized airflow.
Ergonomics
Equipped with a down-firing 10-inch woofer and a 130 W Class-D amplifier, the T10S’ frequency response ranges from 28 Hz to 120 Hz and offers an impressive max. SPL of 104 dB. An internal adjustable two-channel crossover allows calibration of the bass signal and provides optimal performance of the total system. The options at the rear of the subwoofer allow for varied adjustments which compensate for room acoustics or they offer more control for satellites attached.
Adam Audio T5V Active Nearfield Monitor
The Adam Audio T5V Active Nearfield Monitor is a highly affordable two-way nearfield monitor optimized for small control rooms.
Ergonomics
With its 5-inch woofer, the bass frequency response of the T5V extends to 45 Hz. The new U-ART tweeter, a breakthrough solution for use in high-resolution recording and mixing on a budget, goes up to 25 kHz and is mated to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the high-frequency propagation (HPS) waveguide used in Adam Audio’s flagship S Series monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working.
Mechanism
A beveled cabinet with a rear-firing bass reflex port and a small footprint allows placement anywhere in your room, no matter how small, and contains built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization as well as multi-way analog connections. Powered with a 50 W Class D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V produces SPLs of up to 106 dB per pair. Excellent acoustic characteristics, small dimensions, and an outstanding cost/performance ratio make this studio monitor perfectly suited for use in small control rooms in music, video, and broadcast production.
U-ART 1.9-Inch Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter
The new U-ART 1.9-inch accelerated ribbon tweeter, as used in the T Series, is made of a high-tech polyimide film and provides pristine and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz,virtually unheard of in monitors in this price range, and a breakthrough solution for use in high-resolution recording and mixing on a budget. Unlike a conventional dome or cone tweeter that uses a piston action to move air and reproduce sound, the U-ART tweeter uses a pleated ribbon that alternately draws air into its folds and squeezes it out like the folds respectively expand apart and press together in response to the inputted audio signal. This design produces four times as much air movement as does a piston-based design, creating higher sound pressure levels (SPLs) with lower distortion.
High-Frequency Propagation System
The HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguide was initially designed at ADAM Audio for the S-Art of the S series range with the aid of the latest computer modeling techniques. It hones the dispersion of the speakers to an even, uniform consistency, broad in the horizontal axis but tightly focused in the vertical plane. This minimizes potentially distracting reflections from the horizontal surfaces of significant studio furniture (for example mixing consoles), ensures that imaging remains constant, and creates a large, well-controlled, and stable ‘sweet spot’, even at high output levels.
Pulse Width Modulation
The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) sometimes referred to as Class D amplification, sometimes called Switching Amp Technology converts the incoming signal to a series of rectangular waveforms of equal height. The width of the rectangles varies in time and the relation of the width of the rectangles represents the musical signal. This waveform can be amplified much more simply, as the transistors are not modulated anymore; instead, they are used as switches that only turn the power supply voltage on and off. It is possible that a very fast mechanical switch could do the job, but power transistors are a better choice for the task, so PWM amplifiers still work pretty much like conventional Class AB designs.
