Solidly Built with Performance in Mind
Manufactured at Fender’s state-of-the-art acoustic guitar manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Mexico like all Highway Series guitars, the Dreadnought guitars are crafted either in a solid Sitka spruce or with genuine Mahogany top placed on a 2.25-inch thick body that fully consists of Mahogany. The internal build consist of a tapered floating ‘X’ bracing pattern with innovative thinline designs, with which you can create organic tones that are both resonant and dynamic. The fingerboard and bridge is made of Indian Rosewood, giving it a dark and rich feel. Fender has collaborated with Fishman for the Dreadnought series, and their pickup system is described to be the soul of the Highway Series. The innovative features gives control over both volume and control, panning between two different EQ settings, and letting the player exert control in a way that the natural acoustic tones don’t get overshadowed. The Fishman Fluence Acoustic Pickup system works with fidelity and performance as its core traits, and comes with a beautifully curved magnetic Fluence Core pickup system that consists of all-analog technology to deliver the purest of tones amplified with sonic realism, feedback resistance, and clarity.
