EVH SA Series SA-126 Special 6-String Electric Guitar with Ebony Fingerboard (Stealth Black Ebony)

EVH challenges the 'norm' with the release of the SA-126 Special, Wolfgang Van Halen's vision of what a modern guitar should be in the twenty-first century. The EVH SA-126 Special Electric Guitar embodies pure innovation. It's a hybrid of a semi-hollow and a solid body guitar, with a bolt-on neck and features typically associated with high performance guitar brands like a slim neck, jumbo frets, and higher output pickups. Wolfgang Van Halen designed the instrument with versatility in mind, striking the ideal balance between crushing rhythm tones and lightning fast lead runs. Below is a brief summary of the attributes. The all-new SA-126 has a chambered mahogany body that features a basswood centerblock for stability and tone. This thing radiates 'TONE' thanks to its maple top on solid finishes and quilt maple on transparent finishes, as well as its 5 ply the body binding. The guitar  has a 22 fret 12-16-inch compound Ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays on a graphite-reinforced mahogany neck. With a scale length of 24 inches and three quarters, this feels like a modern classic that is both comfortable and familiar. Finally, a spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the neck's butt end enables quick and easy adjustments on the move. Presenting the EVH SA-126 bridge and neck pickups, which can handle almost anything you throw at them. These pickups were designed by the EVH team and Tim Shaw, Fender's resident pickup designer. From ‘Burn’ to a powerful bath of Overdrive, the sophisticated sound of cascading glassy cleans will satisfy even the pickiest fan. Three-way toggle with two volumes and two tones to control each, as well as the ability to switch between the bridge, bridge and neck, and neck pickups at the upper horn. Keystone tuning pegs, oversized strap buttons, and a harmonica bridge and stop bar tailpiece are additional features. The SA-126 Special has hardware in black and stealth black ebony. Lastly, this also includes the SA126 Hardshell case, which has an interior of blue crushed velvet and is wrapped in ivory vinyl.
