Electro-Harmonix Bass Blogger Distortion Pedal with Volume Knob, Tone Knob, and Effect Output Jack
The Electro Harmonix Bass Blogger Distortion Pedal delivers definition and grit to your bass tone. With selectable Drive and Fuzz settings, it can go from silky, smooth overdrive to volcanic, fiery fuzz, all in a compact, versatile package.
Volume Knob
In the fuzz mode, this is a master volume control after the gain stages. In the Drive mode, the volume is inactive and remains at unity gain for optimal performance.
Tone Knob
As the knob is rotted, this filter changes the tone from dark to bright through a linear frequency range.
Drive Knob
In both Drive and Fuzz modes, turning this knob up (clockwise) will increase the amount of distortion or fuzz.
Effect Output Jack and Dry Output Jack
Your Distorted bass will come out of Effect Output Jack, and the dry output jack connects directly to the input jack to allow access to your original bass signal.
Fizz/Drive Switch and Input Jack
This switch selects either the Fuzz or Drive mode, and the input jack will allow you to connect a musical instrument.
Footswitch and Status LED
This footswitch toggles between effect mode and True Bypass. When the status LED is lit, the effect is active.
Power
Power from the internal 9-volt battery is activated by plugging into the input jack.
The input cable should be removed when the unit is not in use to avoid running down
the battery. If a battery eliminator is used, the Bass Blogger will be powered up as
long as the wall wart is plugged into the wall.
