Three Sound Delaying Modes
Silos offers three surprisingly different modes- Mode D, Mode A, and Mode T, all packed into one device. Each mode offers up to one second of delay time. The Digital Delay mode (Mode D) delivers bright repeats that stay strong despite the degree of decay. With shorter settings, immerse yourself in a bold staccato sound while the longer settings will deliver longer repeats with an ambiance. The Analog Delay Mode (Mode A) has a mid-focused tone with faster diminishing repeats. It works perfectly well with a clean signal or distortion. Mode T refers to Tape Delay which will remind you of a well-loved tape delay with a hint of an oil-can delay tone, making it perfect for atmospheric terrains or dark undertones. Silos was designed to respond perfectly to gain and overdrive saturation.
Six Available Presets
The EarthQuaker Devices Silos has six available preset slots to easily save and recall your favorite settings. The settings for these three controls, the mode switch and the expression jack assignment can be saved and recalled in any of the slots.
Two Operating Modes
Silos offers the convenience of two operating modes that are easy to switch between on the go. In the Live mode, Silos operates exactly where the controls are set. Any changes made will have no effect on the presets unless they have been saved, whereas in the Preset mode, Silos can be used to operate on stored presets (including expression pedal mapping) via the Preset switch. In this mode, physical settings of the controls will be ignored.

Using any TRS expression pedal, you can take control over the Time, Repeats or Mix on this powerful 3-in-1 pedal.
Controls
The mode toggle lets you toggles between Digital Delay, Analog Delay, and Tape Delay .The Time toggle sets the delay time from 0-1 second while the Repeats Delay helps to control the regeneration of the delay signal. When set to Repeats Delay mode, Silos does not self-oscillate in Digital Mode but starts self-oscillation at 3 o’clock in Analog and Tape Modes. Simply adjusts the level of the delay signal with the mix control mode.
