The EarthQuaker Device Time Shadows II Subharmonic Multi-Delay Resonator Guitar Pedal is the latest guitar pedal with three completely new modes. The Death By Audio side is a remorphinator that can produce icy shimmery tones to space cave ones, while the middle position on the pedal comes as a beam of energy that feels like a repetition of earthly transmissions into the gates of heaven with a starkly different deep dive tone. The Time Shadows Guitar Pedal features three simple controls: Time, Span and Filter. Time controls the Delay Time. Span controls the intensity of repletion, while Filter control is the most exciting control on Time Shadows. Filter controls the filter Frequency as well as the shift point of a precisely phased delay line for pole zero interpolation on the DBA side. It controls the mix when placed in the middle position.

Time Shadows pedal has two operating modes that can be differentiated based on color. Green indicated Live Mode and Red indicates Preset Mode. Pedal operates exactly how controls are set and the save and save or recall switch stays static green when in Live Mode. When it turns red and changes to Preset Mode, the save or recall switch stays red. The pedal comes in Live Mode by default.
