The Level control blends in the amount of 12-string effect added to the dry signal. Clockwise will increase and counterclockwise will decrease the intensity. The Tone control provides high-frequency enhancement of the effect signal as it is increased. Turn it clockwise to make the tone brighter. True bypass preserves your tone when the pedal is not in use.
