DiFrancesco, known as 'Mr. DOD.' This model not only respects the original design and sound but also introduces new functionalities, establishing the 250-50th as the most versatile and expressive model in the esteemed series of 250 OD variants. Meticulously hand-built in the USA with through-hole components, DOD proudly reclaims its legacy as 'America’s Pedal' with this commemorative offering.

All About Controls and Modes

The 250-50th model retains the same Gain and Level controls, utilizing the original potentiometer values and tapers to ensure the familiar feel and range that users have come to appreciate. This limited-edition overdrive also features a 3-position toggle switch, which not only faithfully reproduces the traditional stock 'SILICON' mode, but also introduces two additional modes for enhanced versatility. The 'Ge and ASYM' mode offers a distinct asymmetrical even-harmonic distortion, achieved through the use of a vintage Germanium diode. The third toggle option, known as the 'LIFT' mode, completely removes diode clipping from the signal path, allowing for a clean boost or a dirty boost as the vintage LM741 op-amp is driven into clipping at higher gain settings.
