Catalinbread specializes in making items that are precise replicas of antique equipment, but rethinking outdated technology also involves pushing the envelope of what is possible. Sometimes that can appear like a room reverb if the room were an infinite number of square feet, and other times it can look like a spring reverb that has had its decay drastically increased to simulate springs far larger than those found in amplifiers. The Talisman already pushed the limits of what a genuine EMT 140 could sound like in the domain of plate reverb. The idea of an EMT 140, a massive sheet of metal supported in a frame with springs and clamps, was developed upon in that pedal by Catalinbread, who added a few elegant decorations intended to create controls where previously were none. DC Power Source

Any center-negative 9-18V DC power source that can deliver at least 100mA of current and is made for effect pedal use can power the Talisman. When using a single power source to power several pedals, be sure the power supply's current rating exceeds the total current needs of all the individual pedals.
